Welcome to the Walla Walla Journal.
The Walla Walla Business Journal was founded to bring you stories of interest relating to Local Walla Walla Businesses those who founded them and the people who work in them.
The Walla Walla Valley is a rich and varied area of long standing history in the west and a promising future. Walla Walla is home of, Whitman College, Walla Walla University, and the Walla Walla Community College all of whom have taught many thought leaders and citizens who have brought forward thinking, and vibrancy to not only our local Walla Walla economy but the World Economy.
Walla Walla has long been famous for it’s agriculture; Walla Walla Sweet Onions, which are spoken of in Europe, throughout the States and Canada, Pea’s, Cherries, Peaches, Apples and Wheat have long been a force in the economy and more recently the explosion of the Wine Grapes and Wine Makers who now are the toast of the world. People from all over the world are coming to experience the wines, hotels and food.
The Port of Walla Walla, with Horizon Air Serving, provides excellent travel options to Seattle and Portland thence the world for business travelers, and vacationers alike.
